Aerial photography interpretation: The Machine Learning of Anomaly Detection

In the last week, we’ve seen a flurry of papers, including one by a researcher who used the data he collected to build a “neural network” that could detect anomalies.

The paper’s authors described the results in a paper entitled “Using data to build an artificial neural network to detect anomalies in aerial imagery” and, at least so far, the team has only tested their system with images of the Russian city of Chelyabinsk, but they’re hoping that they can get it to work with more.

The main problem with the current approach is that it relies on “reactive” information about the image.

This means that the neural network will pick up on the movement of objects in the scene and determine where the anomaly lies, which can lead to a lot of false positives.

However, this is not a big deal because the network will still work with a small amount of data, which means that you can still have confidence in its accuracy even if it has a lot more false positives than positives.

The problem is that if you want to make a machine-learning-based detection system that’s really accurate, you have to have a lot bigger data set than you currently have.

And if you don’t have enough data, you won’t be able to use it to train the network.

That’s why the team at the University of Maryland and their team at Johns Hopkins University, have developed a machine learning algorithm called LISP (Long Term Insights into Image Processing).

This is a “general purpose” neural network that has been designed to recognize anomalies that are similar to human perception and, more importantly, can be trained in a way that’s more accurate than anything you can currently do on your own.

The algorithm can recognize anomalies by identifying the motion of objects and then learning to process that motion to generate the corresponding image.

The researchers used data from the data they collected to train their neural network.

They then ran this neural network against a set of images of Russian cities and found that it was able to identify anomalous locations by about 1.5x accuracy.

The results from this training set were then compared to a set from a larger set of anomalies and the difference was even more striking.

The group’s data set consisted of over 200,000 images and it took the machine-training algorithm about a minute and a half to detect an anomaly that was 2.5 times larger than the original data.

It’s a pretty impressive result.

However it’s worth noting that the accuracy of the algorithm is still a relatively low percentage of the error rate.

The average error rate for a dataset is about 3.3%, so the rate of false positive detection is about 10%.

That means that this is still an improvement over the current techniques that rely on data to detect a small number of objects.

However, the researchers caution that there are some limitations to this approach.

The most obvious one is that they’re still building out the algorithms.

As they noted in their paper, this means that they have a way to be confident that their neural networks can accurately recognize anomalies.

But, that’s not enough for real-world applications.

They also noted that they plan to build on the system to train it with more images from different parts of the world and to use that training data to test its accuracy against other data.

The team hopes that this approach will eventually allow them to develop a method that will be able recognize anomalous structures in the sky that are less than 2 kilometers in diameter.
